Hello everyone. Since my posts have been far and few between this month I thought I would let you in on what is keeping me off of the internet.
I am stripping this cute little table for my daughter. I am trying out a new stripper and hopefully I will be posting about that next week.
Since I am working on improving my photography skills I am taking lots of pictures of the cat. She is a much better model that the dogs. They just want to like the camera which makes taking even bad pictures difficult.
My house turning into a toxic waste site and the EPA demanded that I started a clean up so I am doing some deep cleaning.
While I was at it I cleaned out my spice cabinet.
I have been trying to take pictures of myself a few times a week so that I can link up to The Pleated Poppy’s What I Wore Wednesday. So far I have been unsuccessful at this. All my pics come out blurry and even I can’t tell what I was wearing. Any and all hints on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
And my most time consuming project is upgrading this site. Joining Pinterest, starting a Facebook page, creating a new banner and graphics for this blog. Between technical problems and not really knowing what I want it to look like.
So there it is in a nut shell. I am hoping to get back to a regular posting schedule next week.
But today I want to leave you with one last picture.
While cleaning out the frig I dropped a whole carton of blue berries. But never fear Zoey rushed into help. What would I do without my three dogs.
Thanks for reading,
Traci
I miss our Bichon days. Our floor was always so clean : ) It is time consuming trying to redo a blog isn't it. There are so many options. Maybe just try your mirror shots on Auto and see if that helps. If it is on auto, I'm not sure what is happening?

How is the stripping going? Okay, that sounds either weird or funny! Anyway, when I joined WIWW a few times this summer, I used my tripod. Do you have one sitting around anywhere?
ReplyDeleteOh, this sounds familiar! I'm always doing a little bit of everything ALL the time, I can so relate to your toxic dump comment and just this week I dumped an entire tupperware container of pasta out the the fridge! Only I can't blame it on cleaning! LOL!
ReplyDeleteTraci, I learned with my last project that I am not a stripper, and don't want to be! My strippings will be few and far between. Let us know what you used, and how it worked.
ReplyDeleteI love the little table. She is going to love that when it's finished. I will help you with the picture taking the next time I'm down. I think I have an extra little tripod. Auto and the self timer will work better than the mirror. The mirror shots can be really hard to do.
ReplyDeleteYour pics of your clean spice cabinet is going to now guilt me in to cleaning mine too!
I love this linky party. I can't believe I have missed out on so many great blogs...like yours. I'm now following on Linky, so follow back and we can stay connected. Lori
ReplyDeleteif your camera has timer or remote, get a tripod. I found a one for $10 and we use it all the time for family pictures.
